Yusuke Jindo contributed to a cryptoasset tax reform request as part of the JCBA Taxation Study Group’s leadership.

While at Animoca Brands Japan, Yusuke Jindo contributed to the fiscal 2025 cryptoasset tax reform request as part of the leadership of the Japan Cryptoasset Business Association’s Taxation Study Group.

JCBA and the Japan Virtual and Crypto assets Exchange Association (JVCEA) jointly prepared and submitted the request to the government on July 30, 2024. It called for a 20% separate tax regime, three-year loss carryforwards, reforms for donations and inheritance, and changes to taxation of crypto-to-crypto exchanges.
